15A, integrated 3mΩ power MOSFET with current monitoring function for multiple protection devices
IS6102A is a multi-protection device integrated with a 3mΩ power MOSFET, featuring a maximum DC current monitoring capability of 15A. Equipped with current monitoring (IMON) functionality, IS6102A utilizes an external resistor from IMON to ground to generate a voltage proportional to the device current, enabling current value monitoring and feedback. During startup, an external capacitor connected to the soft-start (SS) pin sets the output slope to limit inrush current and protect system components. Additionally, the device offers programmable current limiting, adjustable via an external resistor from the ISET pin to ground, to meet requirements in various scenarios. Furthermore, IS6102A incorporates comprehensive fault detection and protection features, including overvoltage protection (OVP), overtemperature protection (OTP), and reverse current detection, ensuring the system is safeguarded against abnormal operating conditions for reliable operation and extended lifespan.
