Description

The IS6613A is a high-power-density, fully integrated synchronous step-down converter. It incorporates MOSFETs, supports a wide input voltage range, and delivers up to 15A of continuous output current. Its operating frequency spans from 300kHz to 1.5MHz. For maximum efficiency, an external bias can be selected. A differential sensing scheme and internal feedback reference voltage ensure an output voltage tolerance of ±1% across the entire temperature range. The IS6613A features excellent line and load regulation, providing ultra-fast transient response. It employs an energy-saving scheme that significantly enhances light-load efficiency. Additionally, the IS6613A supports PMBus serial interface communication, allowing configuration parameters via pin-strapping and non-volatile memory (NVM). It also offers telemetry readings for IOUT, VOUT, VIN, duty cycle, and temperature. Comprehensive protection features are integrated into the IS6613A, including valley over-current protection (OCP), negative over-current protection (NOCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP). Protection responses such as Miss, Latch Off, and Hiccup can be programmed via PMBus.
