The IS6630A offers a high-power-density complete power solution for DDR4 and DDR3/DDR3L, integrating a synchronous buck switching regulator (VDDQ) internally. This regulator can deliver up to 10A of continuous current over a wide input voltage range (4.5V to 22V), featuring excellent load and line regulation. It utilizes the company's proprietary TCOT™ control mode for fast transient response. Additionally, the chip integrates a VTT LDO, a VPP LDO, and a buffered low-noise reference output (VTTREF). The VTT LDO output requires only a 22μF ceramic capacitor to sink or source 1.5A of continuous current; similarly, the VPP LDO output needs just a 22μF ceramic capacitor to supply 1.5A of continuous current. VTTREF accurately tracks the VDDQ/2 value. IS6630A comes in a QFN16 (3mmx3mm) package and incorporates comprehensive protection features, including OCP, NOCP, OVP, UVP, and OTP. It includes an open-drain PGOOD signal to indicate the chip's operational status. The use of all-ceramic capacitors at the output helps save space and reduce costs for users.
