Constant 10A Load Fully Integrated Switching Mode Converter
The IS6631A/B integrates a synchronous buck switching regulator internally, capable of delivering up to 10A continuous current over a wide input voltage range (4.5V to 22V), with a maximum output voltage of 12V, and features excellent load and line regulation. It employs our proprietary TCOT control mode for fast transient response. The current limit can be adjusted by connecting different resistors between the CLM pin and GND. The chip operates at a fixed switching frequency of 700KHz and offers a choice between DCM mode or forced CCM mode under light loads. IS6631A/B comes in a QFN16 (3mmx3mm) package and includes comprehensive protection features such as OCP, NOCP, OVP, UVP, and OTP. It features an open-drain PGOOD signal to indicate the chip's operational status. The use of ceramic capacitors at the output helps save space and reduce costs for users.
