IS6809A is a 70A intelligent power level solution. It features high-precision current monitoring and temperature monitoring. The gate driver and power MOSFET of IS6809A are internally integrated to optimize the dead time, minimize switching and conduction losses, and reduce parasitic inductance, thereby achieving high efficiency, excellent thermal performance and high power density. It can receive multi-phase controller's three-state pulse width modulation (PWM) signals, support fault alarm functions such as HS FET overcurrent, overheating and HS MOSFET short circuit faults, and also support precise current sampling and temperature sampling functions to achieve current detection and report junction temperature. It can monitor the working current in real time and issue an alarm when the temperature is too high, and is equipped with a complete set of protection functions, including positive and negative current limits, overtemperature and input voltage UVLO.
