The IS6821A is an intelligent power stage integrating high/low-side power MOSFETs and gate drivers, capable of delivering a continuous output current of 90A over a wide input voltage range. It comes in a compact 4mm x 6mm LGA package, making it an ideal choice for multi-phase applications prioritizing high efficiency and small size. Thanks to its optimized MOSFET design, the IS6821A offers high current-carrying capacity, excellent thermal performance, and high efficiency. It accepts three-state Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signals from the controller. The IMON pin provides a high-precision current sensing signal with a gain of 5μA/A. The temperature monitoring function displays the internal temperature of the power stage (TMON), and in the event of a catastrophic failure, the TMON signal rapidly rises to 3.3V. The IS6821A supports high-accuracy current monitoring and temperature reporting, and is equipped with comprehensive protection features, including positive and negative current limits, over-temperature protection, and fault alert functions.
