40A Fully Integrated Synchronous Buck Converter with PMBus™

The IS6615A is a high-power-density, fully integrated high-frequency synchronous buck converter compliant with the PMBus™ interface, delivering continuous output current up to 40A over a wide input voltage range of 5V to 16V.Adopting differential output voltage sensing and built-in 0.6V feedback reference, it achieves ±1% voltage tolerance across the full temperature range with superior line and load regulation performance. Equipped with PMBus serial communication interface, the device supports parameter configuration via pin strapping or non-volatile memory (NVM), and enables real-time monitoring of key parameters including IOUT, VOUT, VIN and junction temperature. Its switching frequency ranges from 300 kHz to 1.5 MHz, and external bias configurable modes are available for maximum efficiency optimization. Packaged in 5mm×6mm QFN form factor, the IS6615A integrates comprehensive protection functions covering OCP, NOCP, OVP, UVP and OTP, and protection response behaviors are programmable through PMBus commands.
