ISM6401A

The ISM6401A power module is a highly integrated 8A power solution that employs a routable lead frame technology to enhance thermal performance, miniaturization, and low EMI. All pins of this package can be accessed from the periphery, enabling simple layout and easy manufacturing. The ISM6401A power module minimizes the use of external components and provides a simplified output inductor design. It includes excellent power, pre-bias startup, and complete protection features such as OCP, NOCP, OVP, UVP, and over-temperature protection (OTP). The ISM6401A is an outstanding device for powering various load point applications. The module integrates a 5V LDO internally, which can better adapt to single-input power supply application conditions. The differential sense feedback and the use of an internal feedback reference voltage of 0.6V enable the module to achieve an output voltage accuracy within ±1% over the entire operating temperature range, providing excellent line and load regulation. The ISM6401A performs a fixed switching between three different switching frequencies (600kHz, 800kHz and 1MHz). Additionally, it employs the TCOT™ algorithm to enhance the transient response. The internal ramp compensation design enables the use of all MLCC output capacitors, thereby saving space and cost.
