Multi-phase ControllerAvailable

Dual-loop digital-analog hybrid 8-phase PWM controller, supporting PMBus/SVI3/PVID protocols

IS6210A

Description

The IS6210A is a dual-output 8-phase voltage reduction controller designed for xPU voltage regulation and is compatible with PMBus/SVI3/PVID protocols. The chip can be configured with up to two output channels. Loop 1 can be set to operate in 8-phase mode, and Loop 2 can be configured for 6-phase operation. It adopts LGA-40 (5mm x 5mm) and achieves high efficiency within the output load range. It also supports dynamic phase control based on the load current size. The IS6210A uses the unique TCOT control algorithm to achieve rapid transient response. The PMBus interface supports 127 address values configuration, which can be defined using the Innovision GUI and stored in the on-chip non-volatile memory (NVM) to reduce external components and minimize the package size. At the same time, it can also perform dynamic phase control based on the load current, providing comprehensive OVP, UVP, OCP, and OTP fault protection.
